Services
Garden design
Silva Landscapes offers tailored garden design options for your property. This service starts with a design consultation. Marcelo will visit your property to review existing features, views, soil condition, water movement, weeds, and plant competition. The consultation will include a chat to understand your needs, ideas, and expectations, so we can prepare a design tailored to you. When we have a design that you’re happy with, Silva Landscapes can implement the plan on a budget that suits you. Our design services specialize in low-maintenance, practical, and self-sustaining landscaping.
Garden maintenance
Silva Landscapes offers garden maintenance services tailored to your property. Whether you are looking for a one-off job, or something more regular, we can prepare a plan that suits you. We offer options of weekly, fortnightly, or monthly maintenance services according to your needs. With this service we offer pruning (shrubs, hedges, perennials, annuals and small trees), weeding, mowing, clearing paths, and green waste removal.
Hedge trimming
Our professional and precise hedge trimming service will make your hedges look neat and tidy. We also offer a regular hedge trimming service.
Tree pruning and/ removal
Keep your small or medium trees and perennials looking their best throughout the year with Silva Landscapes tree pruning and removal service. We will assess your trees or perennials during a regular visit or consultation, and we will use the appropriate pruning technique to support their health and growth, improving the overall appearance and functionality of your garden.
Property and section clean up
Silva Landscapes can help you to rejuvenate and get your garden or section under control when it needs a good tidy. Marcelo is happy to provide a site consultation for larger jobs, or to get stuck right in. This service also includes green waste removal.
Plant selection, supply and planting
Silva Landscapes can help you select plants, shrubs, and trees that will thrive in your garden. We know Wellington can be a tough environment for plants, and we’re here to help. We can also supply and plant them. With this service we can mulch and fertilize plants to optimize their establishment and growth.
Mulching and soil conditioning
Adding mulch to your garden will help conserve moisture in the soil, regulate temperature, suppress weeds, and replenish important nutrients in the soil so the plants can have an optimal growth condition. Silva Landscapes can provide mulching services tailored to the soil conditions unique to your property.
Lawn mowing and care
Silva Landscapes can help you whether you need a one-time service or ongoing lawn maintenance. We also offer individual lawn care service such as lawn fertilization, top dressing, and re-seeding all.
Weeding
With our weeding control service, you can prevent your garden being overrun by undesired plants that will compete with your precious plants for their nutrients and water. As a result, your garden beds will remain clean and your plants will have the space they need to thrive. Upon request we can arrange to apply herbicide by a certified handler.
Water blasting
With our water blasting service we can help you to rejuvenate your driveway, pathways and some landscape features in your garden. We will always assess whether water blasting is the best solution for your property to ensure it is looking good, and can provide advice on alternative solutions.
Small scale construction
Silva Landscapes can help you with landscape construction features such as retaining walls, fences, gates, steps, planters, decks and garden edges. Marcelo is happy to provide a site consultation and design with this service if required.
Pest and Disease management
This service is designed to identify and treat issues that your plants might experience. We will use safe methods to eliminate harmful insects and diseases so your garden remains healthy and your plants thrive. We can also provide advice for ongoing care and prevention.
